The Kaabe Schools Student Sponsorship Program allows supporters to fund academic scholarships for Kaabe students in need. Sponsors can either cover the full scholarship amount, half of the amount, or about one-fourth. Once the supporter indicates interest, Kaabe management will reach with more information to complete the sign up process and get paired with a student!
Poverty in Somaliland is rampant, with formal unemployment at nearly 80%. Many families need scholarship support for their children’s schooling. Unfortunately, we cannot provide scholarships for everyone so we do our best to take the families through a financial aid selection process that includes an interview, bank statements, and home visits.
Sponsors will be matched with students and will continue to receive updates throughout the year on the student’s progress.
You will receive personalized video messages from your student as well as communication from the school to your email.

Kaabe schools serve children aged 3-12 years old. Hence, our paramount duty is to protect them, ensuring that no child is subject to child abuse or exploitation due to their association with us or their contact with Abaarso Network Staff. In line with this, every supporter will be required to electronically sign our Kaabe Schools Communication and Protection Policy before the communication for their sponsorship begins.
