Anand Desai

Anand Desai is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Darsana Capital Partners, a global, long-term oriented and research-focused investment firm based in New York. From 2004 until 2013, Anand was a Senior Managing Director and Founding Partner of Eton Park Capital Management where he was a member of the Operating Committee and led the firm’s fundamental long-short equity and structured credit investing activities. Anand began his career as a Financial Analyst, first in the investment banking group of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette, where he focused on capital raising and merchant banking activities, and later at a number of private investment partnerships, where he executed fundamental company, industry, and financial analyses. Anand graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, summa cum laude, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in Mathematics from the College of Arts and Sciences. He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Spence School and New York Public Radio.
